Our guesthouse is surrounded by a beautiful mountain landscape, nestled between two lakes, in beautiful Goldegg. Goldegg is only about 50km from Salzburg, very close to ski slopes and many unique attractions in the summer.  We are also located near Alpe Adria bike path leading from Salzburg to Italy.

 We are here to help and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Whether you need hot water, or heat up anything, do your laundry, vacation plan, advice or anything we can help with we are happy to do it. 

Choose from single, double or triple rooms. Almost all rooms have a balcony, all rooms have a bathroom and a hairdryer. Our rooms do not have a TV. The guests are welcome to watch TV in the restaurant.

Enjoy delicious traditional Austrian dishes in our in-house restaurant, we offer a selection from small appetizers to the complete menu.   The restaurant is open for dinner from 18.00 until 20.00 O'clock. Drinks and ice cream are available any time. Menü

Breakfast is part of your room price; however, you can book a room without breakfast as well. We make sure our breakfast has a wide variety of choices: coffee, a choice of at least 10 different teas, many of which are organic, a variety of cheeses including several types from our local organic farm, local honey, deli meats (turkey and pork), a variety of raw vegetables, fresh fruit, jams, butter, meat based and vegetarian spreads, baked good from the local bakery (gluten free at request), we prepare eggs any way you wish.  

Breakfast is served from 7:00 until 10:00 O'clock. 

MAY PACKAGES

Come and see Austria in May. This is when nature is just most beautiful: snow-capped mountains, endless meadows full of flowers, the sun is pleasantly warm, temperatures are ideal for outdoor adventures.   

Our May packages:

Day 1: Grossglockner High Alpine Road with most beautiful views (open for cars only at the moment)

Day 2: Hochleitenalm + Liechtensteinklamm (opens May 7th) (guided walk to an Alpine cottage to enjoy traditional Austrian lunch + visiting a beautiful gorge) 

Day 3: Krimml waterfalls (visiting biggest waterfalls of Europe)  Entry fees €94,50 (for 2 people, not part of the package)  (opens May 1st)

Alternative schedule:  

Day 1: Eisriesenwelt World's largest ice cave + Hohenwerfen castle with guided tour and eagle shows 

Day 2: Thermal baths (Therme Amade, Alpentherme) 

Day 3: Salzwelten salt mine  Entry fees: €240 (for 2 people, not part of the package)

ALPE ADRIA Special

Group of 5 and more: €60/person/night (included breakfast, taxes, biker's afternoon snack). We have a beautiful sunny patio where you can relax after your long day of biking and enjoy your free snack, a cocktail or one of our 24 ice cream sundaes. You can enjoy delicious meal from our traditional Austrian kitchen on the patio or indoors as you wish. Our breakfast is offered early: 7am to help you to leave early before the sun gets too hot.
